Who can vote:
- A U.S. citizen
- A resident of the county
- 18 years old (you may register at 17 years and 10 months)
- Not a convicted felon (unless a person's sentence is completed, including any probation or parole)
- Not declared mentally incapacitated by a court of law
How to register to vote:
- Tax Assessor-Collector is usually the Voter Registrar
- County Clerk or Elections Administrator sometimes registers voters
Where to get a voter application:
The application must be received in the Voter Registrar’s office or postmarked 30 days before an election in order for you to be eligible to vote in that election.
You will receive your voter registration certificate in the mail.
